    Puts other spoons to shame.

Ditch the chopsticks and make eating soup in the backcountry that much easier with the Titanium Long Spoon from Snow Peak. This spoon features an extra-long handle, making it ideal for use during cooking, as well as the fun part after: the eating.

    Snowpeak vs Brunton

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I compared this with a similar tall and collapsable titanium spoon from Brunton.

For me, the Brunton wins on a slightly lighter weight and more simplistic folding and locking mechanism.

This is still a great option for the Snowpeak lovers out there. And all things considered is still very light, and very tall for reaching the bottom of that backpacking meal pouch.

    Great spoon...a backpack necessity!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great spoon. The locking mechanism used to extend/collapse the spoon locks up tight. Food can get in the mechanism, so be sure to clean it out good! The handle "rotates" to the side to extend/collapse. This is a great spoon for meals in tall pouches to include MREs. I highly recommend it for backpacking as it can fit anywhere! If it was a spork instead of a spoon it would be perfect!
