Description

Lightweight, bomber utensils for the backcountry.

Titanium is super strong and super lightweight, making this fork and spoon set the ultimate for camping, hiking, backpacking, and any activity for which you must pack your own utensils. Lightweight fanatics: together, these utensils barely exceed 1 ounce. (Still too heavy? See this set's love child called the Spork [SNO0007].) Titanium does not impart a metallic flavor to your food, and it will not rust like other metals.

I have no problems with this set, no bending as mentioned in another review. It's light and easy to carry when backpacking. The packaging is also a little plastic zippered carry case, kind of a bonus.

As others have mentioned the fork tines are a little on the soft side but they have not bent for me when I'm eating! Both spoon and fork do their job well and keep my stomach happy!

I am glad I purchased both a spoon and a fork for eating soup and fish. The fork is a must for preparing fish and the spoon is good sized and efficient(unlike sporks). The set is lightweight and functional. although as the other reviews point out, the fork tines are a little weak. An added bonus is the cool removable mini cable that can be used to keep the set together like a couple of keys.

I like the weight and sturdyness of this set. It fits right into my mess kit that I take on hiking trips. If you want light items for hiking trips and do not want to pay through the roof in price, these would be a great start.

Are you sure this is Titanium? My fork tines bend very easily. I thought titanium was supposed to be much stronger!

Titanium? I don't think so. The fork bends like it was made of lead. At least it's not that heavy. What is this stuff really made of?
