Do your prep work, then make sure your stove doesn't tip over with the Snow Peak Solo Cutting Board. Snow Peak added gas canister-sized ridges to the cutting board for backcountry gourmet-enabling stability. Polyethylene construction gives you a sanitary place to chop onions, and washes easily.

Bottom Line: Make your dinner on one side of the Solo Cutting Board, and use the other to make cooking easier by stabilizing your stove.

you can cut on it

at first i was a bit worried that this wouldn't be particularly functional, due to its small size. those fears were put to rest the first time I used it however. it's about 3.5" by 5" or so. those are definitely not exact measurements. as someone had previously mentioned, it works great as a base for a stove or anything else you need to rest on a flat object. I like how lightweight this is as well. really makes preparing food in the backcountry more enjoyable. fully recommend this product.

Great stove/lantern base, good for chopping veggies, fanning your fire...reasonable size and weight.

A great addition snow camping or camping in general

By:

I use this whenever I go camping, most especially snow camping. I have had a lot of pots tip over in the snow due to it melting underneath it and now it is not an issue. Very durable as a cutting board too. Attaches to the outside of you pack with a beaner.

Does what it says

A little heavier than expected. It is very stiff and makes a capable base for my stove, but that stiffness makes it difficult to pack well.

truly multi-functional

Light and multi-functional. Nice plate for bread and cheese at lunchtime on the trail. Useful for getting the camp fire going for dinner. Fits nicely into the stuff sack of our 2L MSR Titan pot (just the right length, rounded corners). Handy in the kitchen when we're not camping.

Snow Peak Solo Cutting Board

I like it. Light and simple. I needed a good cutting surface, but one I could carry around that wasn't too bulky.
