A better midlayer.
You might be scratching your head wondering whether the Snow Peak Men's Flexible Insulated Pullover is a puffy jacket or a shirt, so let us just set the record straight by telling you that it's a bit of both. Styled after your favorite sweater and stuffed full of Polartec Alpha insulation, it's a clever cross between a puffy and a pullover, resulting in a better midlayer. Its polyester fabric is treated with a water-resistant finish to repel moisture, while the breathable Polartec insulation allows the shirt to be worn comfortably under a shell. A single chest pockets stows a gadget or two, and the bound cuffs and hem help to lock in heat during those chilly nights spent sipping whiskey drinks around the campfire.

I've been wearing the Snow Peak Flexible Insulated shirt since April 2015 and am psyched every time I put it on. I might go so far as to say I missed it over the summer... but alas, the fall is upon us and winter is rolling in - primetime for this comfortable, stretchy and warm shirt jacket to strut its stuff. It is certainly warmer than one would expect - and it doesn't mind a little precipitation thanks to it's Polartec Alpha insulation that keeps you warm even when it gets wet. I've been wearing it with a t-shirt for most of the fall - these days, it's more than capable with just a flannel underneath. While it's certainly very technical in materials, it has an amazing look that catches the eye without even trying. It feels at home in the mountains, around a campfire as it does walking the streets of Tokyo - keep it close, because if you're anything like me you'll be reaching for it virtually every day.
The description says that this jacket only has a chest pocket, but it looks like in the photos it has 2 hand pockets as well. Are the pictures incorrect or is the description? Thanks!
