This helmet DOES run small. I wear a medium in other Smith helmet styles, but needed a large in this style. First thing I noticed was the interior of this helmet was made out of a softer material than other helmets. It made it feel cozy and in temps below freezing I didn’t need an extra layer to keep my head warm. It shouldn’t be sold as a women’s helmet, but an EVERYONE’S helmet. I love the vents that open during warm weather too. But best of all, it kept my head safe. I hit an icy patch going into a turn too quickly and soon was down. The momentum of the fall pulled my upper body forward and soon I was traveling down a steep slope head first. My noggin didn’t feel a thing and was completely safe. I still can’t believe we all used to ski without helmets in the 80’s and 90’s.

Daughters first "adult" helmet. She is coming off kids Smith units and loves the fit, how light it feels, and the adjustable venting. I liked MIPS and solid protection

Terrible Helmet

I would never buy another Smith Helmet. The first one I bought I took straight back to the shop as the wind was blowing through the ear pads so loudly I couldn’t hear myself think and it gave me a terrible headache. The shop replaced it with another one which was not as bad but there is a plastic piece above the ears which holds the wires for the size adjustment and on one side it is lower which causes my ear to ache very badly all day and when I take the helmet off it is excruciating. It’s a terrible helmet.

Women’s Vantage

I’ve been wearing Smith helmets for years and needed to upgrade to MIPS. As always, great fit, super comfortable, and the matte white is a clean look.

Even though I am a

Even though I am a male, I purchased a woman's helmet because it is more comfortable. I get a nice fit with this helmet. I love how it integrates with the Smith goggles. I replaced my 10 year old Smith helmet due to age. It has worked out great.
