Smith Transit Goggle - 2008 BCS

They are great but nothing speacial. The padding is really comfy and they work well. I guess I have no complaints... so 5/5 stars.

I liked the look of these goggles but wished I had tried them on first - they sat funny on my face squishing my nose down. If I moved them up the rim was just under my eyes - they are made for a smaller face. I wish they worked but I had to return them.

These goggles (white intersection/sensor mirror) are even more adorable in person than online. I was weary they would look too big and bulky on my face, but they are perfect! The lens doesn't pick up quite as much blue as the picture makes it out look, but still picks up lots of fun and hot colors. I love the clasp on the back of the elastic so I don't have to always pull the goggles up over my head to get them off, which consequently always results in my hat being pulled off and my hair getting all crazy. My only issue with these is that the ventilation foam between the goggle frame and forehead cushion is so thin I can just see myself poking my finger straight through it... so be careful there! Overall, very cute and good a buy.

These goggles get the job done, and Smith makes excellent lenses. These frames are a solid choice for those of us with smaller to mid size faces. I think the spherical series goggles are a step up though. Smith's mirror lenses have great optics, and there are good ones for every kind of condition. Platinum Mirror are great for sun, and the Sensor Mirror are excellent in low, flat light on storm days. I like the Ignitor Mirror for in-between days, and for morning and late afternoon when you're in and out the shade (though not as much of a problem in the spring). I have a pair of RC36 lenses, and I'm not overly impressed. I'd stick with the mirrored varieties!
