Big + square + aviatoresque

Large frames look good, but often fit too wide or sit too low, throwing off the proportions of one's face. Similarly, I like the classic lines of aviators, but most have a droopy look. Combine large frames with aviator styling and you'll be lucky not to look like a bloodhound.
That's where the Taggert comes in.
It's one of the bigger frames available, but it has a tight wrap that fits perfectly on my medium face. It sits high (covers my eyebrows) and maintains the vertical proportion of my face. The shape is square and modern enough to avoid the droop without being too angular.
The only issue is the weight, which is almost unavoidable when this much material is involved. Thankfully, the nose pads are more comfortable than the moulded-in variety and carry the weight without discomfort. I can't comment on durability, having owned them for only a few days.
One final note: Many sunglasses can work for both men and women, but these are going to look a lot better on men. Sorry, ladies.
