The Smith Polarized Southbound Sunglasses combine Smith style with the best in glare reduction and UV protection. The Southbound offers a super light Techlite glass lens with an 8 base curve equipped with Tapered Lens Technology for zero distortion. The polarized lenses reduce 99% of reflected glare, which enhances visual acuity and reduces eye fatigue. This model has a high quality ground and polished glass lens that is chemically treated for impact resistance. Rugged, resilient stainless steel hinges and a handmade Acetate frame that features adjustable wire core temples ensure these suckers will last.

Great polarized lenses and great style as well. This is my first polarized pair and they blow regular lenses away. I will never wear non-polarized again, especially because of the view on the water.

I've had these glasses for about 4 years now. I have a fairly small face, so these are perfect for me. I really like the glass lenses and the sleek style of the frames. I always wear toasters for skiing, biking, hiking and all that but I was looking for something a little fancier for going out and just everyday stuff where I wasn't exercising. The polarized helps a ton for being on the water or bright sunny days.
