The Smith District sunglass is one of Smith's newest Sliders. Featuring a side-releasing lens, the District promises superior eye protection and easy lens changes. Its sleek and subtle design allows comfortable wear in the city or on the trails. Like all Smith Sliders, the District comes with three sets of interchangeable Carbonic lenses. The Dielectric Blue (DB12) mirror lens provides true color vision without affecting the amount of light reaching the eye. It offers increased scratch resistance and a hydrophobic coating that resists dirt and grease. Perfect for action sports like mountain biking, the Carbonic lens is extremely light weight, impact resistant and has precise optical quality. The District fits a medium face best.

Bottom Line: The best interchangeable lens series just got better.

Great glasses at a very nice price.

An excellent pair of glasses with some very nice lenses for pretty much any set of circumstances, i.e. sunny, cloudy and all points in between. My first (and hopefully last) pair of Smith sliders - all depends on whether I lose 'em.

Big Sliders

I bought the Slider District DB12 glasses and they are larger than I expected. They are not like the picture at all. Had to return them because they didn't suit me. You have to have a large face to make them work.

Great new Slider

I love the design of the new Slider. The side-release lenses are far easier to remove than the older Slider designs, and lens scratches seem far less likely. The frame is SUPER light and comfortable to wear. The only drawback I've seen so far is the rubber grip on the ear pieces are so small to be pretty much useless. The DB12 lens is SICK! The blue mirror looks awesome, and the tint really is incredibly accurate to true color.
