Infuse your helmet with your dope tunes thanks to the Smith Skullcandy Single Shot Bombshell Audio Kit. Smith enlisted the audio gurus at Skullcandy to bring their portable audio nastiness to your Smith dome protection. Hook in your iPod or MP3 player with the removable connection cord, and get custom control thanks to the in-line volume control. The padded headphone ear pads go easily in and out of your Smith Holt or Hustle helmet.
Bought these for my Hustle and they didn't fit that well. When you use these in the hustle, you lose the adjustable clicker in the back. On the other hand, these fit absolutely great with the Holt, and if you are looking to add some tunes, these work great. Pretty good sound quality too.
You assume wrongly. If you look in the Tech Specs, you'll see that it only fits the Holt and the Hustle, and according to the reviews the Hustle doesn't even fit that well.

I bought this for the Smith Holt helmet. It's a great idea but I was dissapointed with the performance. The connection between the earpiece and the controller was faulty. It would cut out sound to the left earpiece at random times. I returned the product for a new one. I hope I just had a bad apple.
Therefore, I give this a two-star rating. If the new one is better I'll edit my review.
I'm a prior user of the Giro ear-phone inserts in my G9 for the past few years. Got the Hustle helmet for Christmas and picked these up for resort day tunes.
Mute is a great feature (or requirement) when riding with tunes at a resort. I try to rig my headphone cord so that the mute button was clipped to my goggle strap so I could easily tap the button w/my mitts using my old Giro unit.
Not sure if it's the cold or snow, but doing the same with this unit is not easy. The mute button doesn't have a very good quality switch and it doesn't turn off/on easily (i.e. it gets stuck on and is tough to mute)
I worked around this by letting the switch hang in my jacket and having my iPod accessible to hit pause (works right through my hardshell using my inside chest pocket). Having the iPod accessible is a nice option regardless so you can skip tunes and even change volume through your shell. A negative of this is that once in a while the volume switch gets tweaked (up or down)...which requires a de-glove and zip down to adjust with bare hands.
Overall, this unit is great as having earbuds in all day with a helmet on can be painful. I'm disappointed in the quality of the mute button switch.
Regarding MT's post above, I will say that this thing is a pain in the arse to install in the Hustle helmet. My girl has the Smith Variant Rim helmet w/similar headphone inserts and it was a pain with them too, so it could be in common with all Smith helmets. But, unlike MT, I did not loose the clicker adjustment function (a critical piece for safety IMHO). You just have to be crafty with how it's installed...contact me offline if you would like a picture or to discuss.
whats the difference between this and the audio kit one? the only difference i can find is this says bombshell and the audio kit one doesnt what does that mean???
Been pointed out a few times but it really doesnt fit the Hustle very well. my snap adjuster still works and all, but this isnt as good as the default ear pads and they feel cheap. I'll probably just go back to ear buds once these break.
The snap in headphones were pretty easy to get into the helmet...however the snaps that connect to the earpads to the helmet do not line up very well. This is a design flaw that looks like it can be fixed with some elbow grease. Other than that, the sound is good...could be a bit louder, but its coming from an iPod, so maybe the EQ wasn't properly adjusted. I'll mess with it and hopefully it will be loud enough when I'm going fast. But just sitting in the park or cruising it will for sure be loud enough. Good product, VERY happy with my purchase.
