Slide on the Smith Optics Roundhouse Sunglasses and kick a ten-dollar bill into 200 nickels. Crystal clear TLT lenses not only minimize the fun-house effect of distortion that cheaper shades create, but these lenses also eliminate blinding glare from reflective surfaces thanks to the polarized coating. Highly durable and lightweight acetate frames can take all the abuse your ninja-like lifestyle invites, so don't be shy about wearing these even if you're expecting to get involved in a Kung Fu battle in a crowded city mall.

Almost perfect

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I picked these up for an amazing price on I wasn't expecting too much, I just wanted a pair of polarized sunglasses for those bright Utah afternoons driving home. Plus they looked alright, fairly ambiguous styling.

Exceeded expectations for sure. Style is great. They are a fantastic size, medium width, and the lenses aren't huge or overbearing, but definitely cover up the eyes well. Style is fantastic. Optical clarity is also great, I can't find any aberrations at all.

The polarizing, however, is only mediocre. It works, and it does its job well, but it seems like the polarization is applied unevenly across the lens. There are areas near the frame that get darker, almost like there's a tie-dye pattern of polarization across the lens. It's a bit weird, not a deal breaker, but definitely not perfect. Maybe mine have a defect. Not sure.

Other than that, awesome glasses.

These glasses fit great and perform awesomely. After ordering Oakley Frogskins, I realized they were much to small for me and I needed a wider gap for the nose. These fit me perfectly and I am very happy to have spent the money to have them!

    Sweet and stay on

These shades are awesome. . . the lenses are a great shade too- not too dark at all- however perfect on a super bright day. They stay on well too- you could probably do flips on a tramp wearing them (okay- I'll try it later) and they'll stay on. Don't get me wrong though - they don't give you a headache or anything. they just feel durable and strong. plus i really dig the alternating shine-to-matte-finish check. Something to note: there is a slight dip in the center-top of the frame- it's not a straight-acrosser like the gibson- I don't prefer it one way or the other- but it's worth noting-
