Carbonic lenses are tough stuff, and they're derived from polycarbonates. They do have a tendency to scratch unlike glass, but they're lightweight and relatively inexpensive.It's a good thing you don't drink from your sunglass lenses either, otherwise those might all be changed out under the massive BPA craze…

The Projekts are great and fit really well on my normal size dome. The polarchromatic lenses are always cool and actually work really well at dusk as the light is changing. Definitely a good choice from Smith!
