Sweat, pant and gasp yourself silly, you won't fog these up. The Smith Prodigy Turbo Cam is the medium sized fog-proof offering from the goggle wizards at Smith. Spherical lenses make these babies totally distortion free. The Prodigy works fabulously with Smith's Ocular Docking Station, since the cams prevent all the lenses (goggles and prescription) from fogging. The battery powered piezo-electric fans are silent running and have a multi-season battery life. Fits medium sized faces best.

Bottom Line: We refuse to use the word foggles. Whoops.

These are great at solving my full face fog problem. Every once in awhile my glasses will fog up but I have found that it is mostly because of my glasses being dirty. Want to try the lens dock system so I don't have to wear my glasses in the goggles. The fit for me is great. The fan isn't silent but is a small humming that is easy forgotten about. Grab the case as well to protect them.

waiting for winter

Although its 90F outside, I can tell that these goggles will work, just putting them on, with the fan on low, you can feel the air circulating. That's what I've been looking for, especially on those days, when you’re crossing those long goat-trails to the next pow run. Can't wait to put these through the ringer this winter.

Not for my face

By:
February 17, 2006

The frame was large for my face, putting pressure a bit too low on my nose for comfort. The fit over glasses wasn't bad, but didn't help the comfort issues any. On the low setting the fan was quiet, though not silent. The high setting was simply loud. Given the excellent lens quality and field of view, I'm sorry they weren't a good fit for me.

Fog Free

By:

These goggles met my needs perfectly. I've never had a goggle stay fog free during hard alpine ice climbing but these did. The humming takes away from the serenity of the mountains occasionally and the power switch lock isn't easy to use with gloves o but the pros far outweigh the cons.
