Smith's Phenom Goggles leaves all the over-wrought styling and over-sized ridiculousness to the beaters, clearing the way for crystal vision and a killer fit—let your riding do the talking, not your head bling. The Phenom Spherical Goggles' front sliding ventilation system, combined with a Fog-X lens treatment, keeps air circulating and prevents fogging. Foam on the frame wicks moisture for comfort, while a hinged strap and flat top mean the Phenoms fit well whether you wear a lid or not.
Bottom Line: For a clear view no matter the weather phenomenon.

It seems as though Smith was going for a simple design for this model, and they even show that sentiment in their description:
"Smith's Phenom Goggles leaves all the over-wrought styling and over-sized ridiculousness to the beaters, clearing the way for crystal vision and a killer fit - let your riding do the talking, not your head bling."
However the "Soft Black/RC36" style has stupid plastic rhinestones on it, and gold shimmer on the inside of the band. It's not clear from the photo, and is a pretty clear contradiction from the description.
If you want to avoid looking like a dork on the hill, the Soft Black style probably isn't for you.

I love the styling of these goggles and the lenses are second to none (well, maybe oakley). They integrate really well with most helmets as they have a nice smooth/rounded shape accross the top. If you want perfect helmet integration, get a Smith helmet as they help vent the lenses.
