Description

Yeah, so, um HOLY S!!T!

The Smith I/O Recon isn't just the next level of goggle technology, Smith skipped a few levels on the way. The I/O Recon allows you to see your music, call display, sms display and buddy tracking right on the inside of the goggle via a bluetooth wireless connection. The Recon also tells you your current speed and max speed. If you jump it will tell you how high and how far you jumped. All of your data can be uploaded via a USB connection to your computer so you can track vertical feet, which runs you took, and all your speed and airtime information. You can also track your friends anywhere on the mountain so you can forget about walkie talkies and phone calls. Oh yeah, and the I/O comes with two anti-fog lenses with a quick-release function for easy switches. But you didn't really care about that, did you.
  • Medium fit for medium faces
  • Quick release lens system for easy changes with no scratches
  • Spherical Carbonic-X Lens for clear, distortion-free optics
  • 5X anti-fog inner lens stays clear even during a backcountry hike
  • QuickFit Strap Adjustment system makes it easy to fix the fit on the fly
  • Ultra-wide silicone backed strap is comfortable and won't slip off your helmet
  • 3-layer foam for all-day comfort
  • Includes microfiber goggle bag with replacement lens sleeve
  • Includes 2 mirror lenses

the goggles fit well and look cool. as for the software, it is a nice toy, but not for all. these goggles are a nice gift, if someone else bought for you. also they are on sale for 350 on some other sites. the software is ok. synching is an issue with android. i have skullcandy bluetooth headset for helmet and took a while to get everything to sync and work correctly. one thing is for certain, battery life is horrible. may last four hours ONLY IF you keep the screen OFF most of yhe time. trail map is s neat feature but hard to read on the display....all in all, nice toy if someone else buys for you......battery life is horrible.
