Adding Skullcandy Audio to the new Smith Hustle Helmet was the only way to make it better, so that's what Smith did. The Hustle is a new-age hybrid, a bit more skate-styled than the Variant Brim but a lot more functional than the solid-shell Holt—making it perfect for riders living on the line between big mountain and freestyle. Skullcandy drivers in the earpieces rock indiscriminately whether you prefer Hendrix or Ghostface, and the one-handed vent closure is easy to operate even with gloves on. Wicking Cocona fibers in the Hustle's lining also kill odor, and the vent covers live right beneath the shell, meaning closed vents won't be clogged after you tomahawk down Baldy.
I would assume 3.5mm would work, Giro no longer makes their helmets with 2.5mm, I can only assume the rest of the audio helmets on the market will do the same, 2.5mm is only on the first gen iPhone, crackberry's and Iphones now all use 3.5mm. If anybody else knows differently speak up.

A little wide for my tastes, looks like an army helmet. It's adjustable on the inside like a hard hat though, which makes for a very comfortable fit. The audio jack connection is a bit awkward and I have to tweak the jack just right in order for uninterrupted music. I second what neo2530006 said.
The fit, airflow and styling of this helmet is great! I have POC Lobes goggles and they integrate very nicely. The audio jack in the earflap is something to be desired. Mine floats around and I have to search for it when plugging in. I don't know if this is isolated or a bigger problem.
I've had this helmet for a couple of months now. I really like the helmet but would not recommend it for audio. I've had audio issues with the helmet since day one and ended up just using as a regular helmet. What a waste! Smith has terrible customer service policies. The person I spoke with is great but if you have issues, you will have to jump through hoops to get it sorted. Skullcandy has the best customer service ever so go figure. Great helmet but if you want audio check out something else.
By the way this helmet comes with every phone adapter known to man except the iPhone. It's impossible to make the remote work with the iphone.
Goggles usually have the same width on the strap, and the front of the helemt is really open so it should work with just about any major brand goggle.I recommend Smith goggles though - the vents will line up perfectly for better fog sucking.
Crap, sorry Barrett I erased your answer...please repost. If your phone has a jack for a single bud headphone (wired handsfree device), you could get an adapter to a 3.5mm jack so you can use your phone as your music source.
This helmet is pimp! It has the comfort of the Variant Brim with the syle of the Holt....and it has the Skullcandy audio to boot! It fits true to size and feels great on. You really can zone out all ambient noise with it when you plug in your iPod/cell phone/etc. and play them through the included earphones. Hands down the best helmet I have ever had.
