Description

Classic style and optic performance—for the killer-robot apocalypse and beyond.

Killbot-7500 is terrorizing the town, incinerating everything with highly-concentrated ultraviolet rays. Fortunately, you’re wearing the Smith Forum Sunglasses. Thanks to the 100%-UV-blocking lenses, your eyes are safe—although you should probably consider relocating. The hydrophilic nose and temple pads ensure a slip-free fit while you flee for your life.

Smith prevails.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

They're polarized. They fit my face. Yay.
They feel a bit more rounded than perceived in the picture. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, they do the job splendidly! Put some Croakies on 'em and find yourself all over the place.

Symmetry

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are made so symmetrically that I realized my nose is crooked. Too many face-plants.

Polarized lenses do their job. However the lenses aren't as tall as I'd like, so they don't cover my eyebrows like I'd prefer. My fault though I tried them on at REI before-hand.

Good Fit/Optics, Meant for Narrow Eyes

I'm someone who needs more than a bit of coverage in sunglasses as I have wider eyes than normal. When I tried the Smith Forum Sunglasses - Polarized, I found that the fit and optics of the grilamid frame and polarized lens were Smith's usual above normal quality and durability. The frame shape itself left me wanting though as the lens height was too narrow for my eye shape. A shame too, as they did look pretty good on me even with that issue. If you have a medium to narrow eye shape, give these a shot for sure.

Surprisingly Lightweight

Surprisingly lightweight, but they feel sturdy enough.

Polarized lenses do exactly what they're supposed to: nearly eliminate glare off reflective surfaces / water. Shades have just enough coverage around the sides for bright Utah sunny days. Nose and temple pads are insanely grippy.

I have a pretty large head / face and these fit nearly perfect. A little close to the eyes, but I don't have any issues with eyelashes dragging on the inside of the lenses. Sounds weird I know, but wear enough shades and you'll experience this eventually IMO.

Thumbs up.
