Great glasses for large faces
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I have a big head. Along w/ my big head, I have a big face. These glasses fit both my face and my head really well. They look great, and are of very high optical quality. Overall, they are sweet shades for a pretty good price!
If you think you're a pretty confident person, averaging a B+ in confidence at any given moment.. Toss these bad boys on and watch that average boost up to an A- A A+ level immediately. Goodbye B range. Hello A student!
A Nice Lower Profile Option From Smith
The amount of style is definitely not lost on the Smith Editor Sunglasses - Polarized. One look with these had me imagining myself strolling around LA while movie writer wannabees try to hand me scripts for their latest B-Movie nightmare.
Looking beyond the style does give a great amount of durability with the combo of acetate and stainless steel. Usually not a fan of adding metal because it can bend, but the thicker height design definitely allows none of that to happen.
Optics were pretty good too. Handled sun really well, but a bit less clear with viewing underwater from the top brands out there. Also, if you're looking for more than a bit of eye coverage or if your eye height is tall, stay away as I found the lenses to be slightly small height-wise and my eyes are average.
They are a lot wider than the picture makes them seem. They really didn't look good on me. These are definitely large-face glasses.
