Nearly 50 years ago, Dr. Bob Smith sat down in his kitchen and changed skiing forever by inventing goggles sporting dual-pane lenses and foam vents. Smith's Dr. Bob Limited Edition I/O Goggles use the modern version of dual-pane lenses to turn your goggles into a mobile storm window—fog won't get in your way of seeing what you're skiing. A Porex filter and 3-layer DriWix face foam work in conjunction to keep water and cold air outside of your goggles while leaving the warmth inside so your face doesn’t freeze quite as quickly. Time changes style, but quality design withstands the test of time; throw on Smith's Dr. Bob Signature I/O Goggles and say thanks as you ski and see, at the same time.

  • Two included interchangeable lenses so you can see where you ski: Ignitor for bluebird skies or cottonball clouds; Yellow for cloudy or flat light
  • Vaporator seal and Porex filter permanently join the inner and outer lens to block moisture but allow the lens to breathe so you don't get foggy getting on and off the tram
  • 5X Anti-Fog treatment supplements design for even better resistance to foggy-goggle syndrome
  • Carbonic-X lenses offer scratch and abrasion resistance for tree-skiing days among low-hanging branches
  • Tapered Lens Technology (TLT) reduces light-wave distortion so what you see is what you get
  • 3-layer DriWix face foam feels soft against your skin while it absorbs sweat and forms a complete seal against your face without pinching or squeezing
  • 1965-inspired red, white, and blue frame
  • Medium frames for the majority of people
  • Articulated outrigger allows the goggle frame to sink into the helmet face port so you can wear both your helmet and goggles comfortably
  • Silicone-backed strap and goggle clip keep your goggles firmly in place until you're ready to take them, with the simple flip of the clip
  • Includes limited edition white with red and blue stripes microfiber goggle bag with replacement lens sleeve

Lens availability

Great lens! Great lens change system! Yea, and several goggle manufacture's can claim the same thing and I probably have or have had their goggle's. What sets Smith apart from others is not only their replacement lens selection, but the availability of the lens. I ski all conditions, including night; from yellow to various tints including polarized AND clear for night they have it all. Try and get the "other guys" lenses in the middle of the season or at all for that matter, some brands are "out of stock" all year long. Just something to think about before committing to a purchase.

so simple,...

Done right, you can swap lenses it 15 seconds or less, I would recommend getting the Smith hard case so you don't accidentally damage your lenses in the backcountry backpack.
