The large-fit Smith Commander Polarized Sunglasses are made for high-impact sports. The open-frame design lends an unobstructed view, and Smith's polarization reduces glare off the road, snow, water, sand, whatever. Hydrophilic Megol nose and temple pads actually get sticky while you sweat so the Commanders won't move around. Wear the Commander Sunglasses trail running in the morning and then road biking in the afternoon.

I loved these glasses when I got them. Fit by big head well and had nice polarized lenses. Unfortunately the coating is much too soft and, despite taking as much care as possible, every time I turned around I found a new scratch or mark on the coating. Might be good for in-active occupations but hopeless for backpacking.
