Fast fashion.

From the jungle to, well, the urban jungle, the Smith Cheetah Women's Sunglasses are on the prowl for cute cafes, dresses, and boys, with a mellowed-out cat-eye silhouette that the 1950s would've killed for. Only modern girls are lucky enough to have impact-resistant Carbonic TLT lenses, lightweight, durable synthetic frames and metal barrel hinges, and even the most up-to-date don't usually get adjustable wire-core temples to keep their shades from sliding down their noses.

another Smith product

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've loved every pair of Smith sunglasses that I've owned. These are fairly light weight frames. I've had no problems with slippage , even when I've been covered in sunscreen, dripping sweat, and riding my bike. I have a narrow face and they stay put. The color of the red frames is as pictured. I would like to mention that I've never worn them out on the water for hours on end so I can't say how they do in that scenario. I put in some long days in the desert ( outside of Moab, UT) for over a week wearing the Cheetah . One of those days, I spent 10 hours completely exposed to the sun (ZERO coverage) and my scleras were red after that 10 hour day.

Great glasses

  • Fit: True to size

These glasses are great for the price and you absolutely get your moneys worth, however, I really regret not forking up the extra cash and going with one of Smiths Chromapop lenses.

Love these sunglasses

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

They are the perfect combination of sporty and stylish, and are comfortable with any amount of activity, don't slide down your nose when you sweat, and can fit on your head without messing up your hair. Would buy again, and I probably will splurge for the polarized lenses for my next pair.

Another Smith success

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I'm not surprised to say I love these sunnies! I have yet to be disappointed by any Smith product I've bought, and these are no exception. I have a narrower face and have worn Ray Ban Warrior sunglasses almost exclusively for the past 4 years or so, and even though they sit a little wider on my face, I really love the shape of the Cheetahs. The frames are light without feeling flimsy, and they've been great for hiking, climbing, and running so far--which is exactly what I bought them for. They don't slip off my nose when I sweat, and they don't feel too bulky to wear with a hat while running. It's cool that they're a throwback from the 80's, too!
