The Smith Axis Sunglasses can do everything as well as you can. Running through the hills one day and skiing the next requires flexibility and adaptability. I have a pair of tortoise/brown lenses. These lenses block UV, but "brighten" the environment. The lenses are big, but not too big on my small face, so they seem to block more light.

These Glasses ROCK!

I use these while I ride a motorcycle and my mountain bike. These fit so perfectly in my motorcycle helmet that I forget they are there. I have a big head and very good peripheral vision and have been using the Smith Mainline glasses for a long time. These are even better. I only have one issue with these since the lenses don't have a bottom frame they are a bit more apt to pop out. Under normal use and even at 100+ mph they work great, just be careful pulling them on and off.
