Smith made the Anthem Spherical Goggles specifically for womene with a Mirror Lens and a small, curvy frame, so you don't have to deal with snow-glare or huge goggles that cover your entire face. Slide the vents on the front of the Anthem Goggles open to prevent fogging as you attack mogul runs or backcountry hikes. Dual-layer foam on the frame helps wick moisture, and the strap attaches to the frame with a movable lever so you always get a secure, comfortable fit. You won't feel like you're staring into a flat field of snow with the Anthem Spherical Goggles' mirror lens. Check the sizing chart to find out which mirror lens tint will work the best for you.
Bottom Line: Finding a pair of goggles to fit a wom,an's smaller face and to cut down on glare doesn't have to be as hard as hitting that high note in the National Anthem.
Dragon makes the DXS which is a smaller version of the DX. Depending on your definition of high quality, Dragon might not make the cut. Electric has the EG.5 and EG.5 LTD (same deal, a smaller EG1). Oakley has several goggles for smaller faces.
i honestly think these are. you cant go wrong with smiths and these bring top of the line performance in a tiny tiny package. and unlike most smalll goggles, these have sperical lenses...these are quite simply some itty bitty goggles that have all the features of regular sized ones :-)
I bought these for my mom to replace her single lens, cracked, pair of goggles from the 90's. She has a small face, and these fit her perfectly. They also line up nicely with her Giro helmet.

I purchased 3 pairs for my wife and 2 daughters and I could not be more pleased with the purchase. The goggles look great on them and they fit perfect. The all wear a Giro G9 helmet, and this Smith goggle fits with it flawlessly. I got one platinum mirror lens for my wife and 2 ignitor lenses for my daughters....all of them have told me that these goggles are so much better than the Uvex goggles they had been wearing the past 2 years.......Just based on their opinion and the look of them, I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this women's goggle.
since you arent sure about the size of your face I would recommend going to a sports store or any store that has these goggles in stock and try them out on your face so you know exactly if they would fit or not instead of taking the gamble. However backcountry has an awesome lifetime return policy so you shouldnt have a problem returning them if you do buy them and they dont fit.
Nice goggles but the strap is tight around the helmet on its loosest setting. I have a Ladies Medium helmet so they really should allow more room on the strap.
For those of you wearing helmets, what do you do with your gogs when you're on the hill and weather decides you need to wear sunglasses or something? Do you carry a backpack, or just throw the goggles around your neck? I normally just wear them backwards or on my forehead, but I have to wear a helmet this season. Helpzorz?
I can't envision a scenario where you would wear sunglasses but couldn't wear goggles, but if you say so. I wear my goggles on the forehead of my helmet, so that should work.
Just used mine this week at whistler, they are great! Good in the sun and in the overcast conditions, never fogged even when snowing and raining and fit nicely with my giro fuse helmet, thanks
yes- the lens are definitely interchangeable, but in my experience- the only place to find them is an authorized smith dealer, which can be tricky especially if you're looking for a certain lens...ie- low light conditions....other than that - the fit is great if you have a smaller face!
I've owned smith, uvex and dragon goggles....we just moved to Montana where the temps are definitely a tad bit colder than what we were use to in Colorado. So far this goggle has been performing pretty well. It's honestly a tie between these and uvex's ultrasonics...smith has great helmet compatibility, but even with the adjustable venting, I find they tend to fog up a bit in the really cold weather.
Depends where you live. Sensor mirrors are great for low and flat light (like a blazing snowstorm), and platinum mirror is better on sunny days. Ignitor mirrors are somewhere in the middle, and if you only want one lens those are probably your best bet.
I love these goggles - tried (and returned) several before settling on these. They are best for a small face, fit perfectly with my helmet and the lense color (light pink) works great in all weather. Pink frame is fun too!
Bought these goggles for our Vail CO vacation. I have a real problem with flat light. The Sensor Lens helped out incredibly with flat light conditions. I thought the women size frame would cut out some peripheral view but not the case at all.
Remember back in the day when we had to wear the mondo boy-sized goggles? Yeah those days are over. My anthems fit great, work perfectly with my helmet (the Smith Premise) and provide awesome visual clarity. I got two pairs, one with sensor mirror lenses and one with the platinum, so no matter what the light conditions I am set. You can switch out the lenses...I'm just lazy.
I got these for my girl, she loves them. Postage was great and the product is exceptional. Thanks again and ill definitely be getting more gear from this site.
