SmartWool Running Ultra Light Micro Socks - Women's - 2007 BCS

I don't know about you, but I tend to sweat a little (sometimes a lot) when I run. Especially since I have started training for my first marathon, I have discovered that the trust Target cotten socks that have stood by me through countless 5K's, just don't cut it past mile 5. These socks keep my socks dry and blister free, even after 2 hours of pounding the pavement. I have yet to run longer than that in training so an Ultra-Marathoners out there will have to make your own decision. As for me, I loved my first 2 pairs so much I snapped up 3 more! Happy running!

these socks are great for hiking and trail running - they are incredibly thin but surprisingly still just as wicking as other smartwool socks. great!

these are truly very comfy socks..they fit great..just to below the ankle...so discreet.

I am not a sock person. I prefer flip-flops!! But I do need socks for runs and hikes. These SmartWool socks are by far my favorite. They are light and unobtrusive. They give a nice soft venting cushion - and are perfect for the hot and humid Florida summers. A nice change up from the Thorlos I wear during winter.

I was disappointed in the these running socks. They felt good at first, but slipped down in the back. I felt they were not up to the usual SmartWool standards.

I've never strayed too far away from the standard cotton sock, but decided to try these out and will never go back. My feet stay so much more dry and comfortable when I'm running in hot weather.

Hiked for 6 hours and my feet stayed dry. The socks were snug so I was happily blister free. This pair is perfect, especially for running. Since we hiked the canyon and it was sandy, the combination of ankle sock and tongue contributed to sand getting in my socks. It wasnt that uncomfortable but hopefully it might help some of you out there.

as an avid smartwool addict for years, these socks are a perfect addition to my sock drawer. very comfy on runs--breathes well.

Nice lightweight running socks.

I am not a fan of standard ankle socks, so when I saw these I decided to try them. They are now my most favorite socks (based on both comfort and performance)! I use them mostly for mountain biking, and sometimes jogging. I had to go back and buy another pair and I will probably buy a few more!
