Description

Poor little Pinkis.

Put on the SmartWool Reversible Training Beanie and get your dog out of the house to run through the snow. Winter is no time to get lazy. You need the fresh air and so does your pooch, because he just ran full force into the glass door he thought was open.

This is a really nice cap. The wool is very soft and even after wearing it all day it won't itch. It's also thin enough that you can wear it under a helmet. But caveat emptor with the one they call "Arctic Blue". The color is nothing like the one shown here, it's actually a totally sucky teal color. If you like hiddeous colors you might like it but others probably won't. When it arrived, I was horrified to see the color and would have immediately called shenanigans but I live in Argentine Patagonia and shipping it back would have cost me more than the original purchase. Now I'm stuck with this comfortable but ugly hat.

Sad. Super sad.

Absolutely best beanie I've ever owned......fit is snug but not too tight, reversible is pretty cool if ya wanna change colours, and since it's merino it keeps your head super warm in the cold, but allows it to breath when you really get moving without overheating. Haven't used it under a helmet, but I'm sure it would work fine.

I think I have 3 of these now...really simple and perfect for countless uses. Awesome running/xc skiing beanie, you never feel like your head's cooking even with temps to the upper 30s, yet perfectly warm all the way into the -10s. Slim profile fits neatly under climbing and skiing helmets, and the two way color scheme coddles your inner fashionista.

I've had two of these beanies for several years and they're a great hat. I use for cool/cold weather jogging and September alpine backpacking, The beanie is small and lightweight (1.4 oz) and gets the job done.

Small enough to put in your pocket and not know it's there.

Head stays super-warm for such a light-weight hat.

This beanie fits nicely under a climbing helmet. Keeps your ears warm and looks great. The amazing thing is you can still HEAR your climbing partner!

I really like this Smartwool beanie. It's incredibly lightweight, provides awesome warmth for the weight, resists odor and fits amazing. It's pack down super small to fit in any nook, in your pack or pocket. Very low profile, so helmet friendly as well. Nice package!

Snug yet comfortable beanie that is perfect for aerobic activity and or mild conditions. Packs up very small so you can easily stuff it in any pocket if you do start to overheat.

This is my favorite cold weather hat of all time. Very comfortable on my bald head. Keeps my head warm even in sub-freezing temperatures. And it's virtually weightless and fits in even the smallest pocket when I need to stash it. It is quite simply the bomb.

I love making winter time runs in this thing. wicks moisture well and keeps my bald head warm. I have a big noggin so really couldn't fit it under a helmet but love to throw it on when not wearing my helmet (eating lunch, hiking or skinning)

The webiste below says .25 lbs, not sure if that's right though. You can always use the chat now feature and have them weight it for you in the warehouse.

Excellent piece of gear. I just got done skiing for a week at Snowbird, and I wore it underneath my Giro helmet. It fit like a glove and kept me perfectly warm without sweating too much. Highly Recommended for anyone skiing/boarding who wears a helmet.
