Mom knows what's best
Mom knows the key to keeping her foot warm in winter is good circulation, and that's what this ultra thin sock delivers. Apart from high quality wool and a long trunk, this sock allows you to wear tight-fitting ski boots and shoes without feeling like your foot is crammed into an airplane bathroom.
My Go-To Sock
These are the best ski socks I've ever used! My feet stay warm and dry without the extra bulk. They make it much easier to wiggle my foot into my boots as well.
Great ultralight ski sock
These socks are great for a snug fitting ski boot. They have just enough stretch to fit comfortably without slipping around or bunching up when you put your boots on. These are pretty durable considering how lightweight they are - my wife and I both use these as our go to socks and they've lasted through several seasons of heavy use. These hold their shape and size well even through several washings. I generally try to hang dry these, but sending them through the occasional drier cycle doesn't seem to hurt them at all.
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
- Fit: True to size
I bought these for my mom as she constantly gets cold feet in the winter, and she couldn't be happier with these. She used to only wear cotton socks, and now she won't go back to anything else!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
I really enjoy the way these socks fit. They're warmer than cotton. But they wear out quickly :( I've had them only three months, and have been using them casually. I've followed the care instructions, but they pilled right away, and now I'm noticing that the threads at my big toe have become transparent; soon there'll be holes. These might last you a season. I don't recommend buying Smartwool's Ultra Light.
