Just like the "Medium" weight, these socks are amazing!

I use these in the Spring and for generally warmer days. They wick great and have all of the same articulation abilities as their "heavier" siblings while still maintaining the plush, cushy feel that SmartWool products offer.

SmartWool ski socks make my feet happy!

They fit and worked great. Skiing in Colorado with near 0 temperatures and our feet were just fine!

Fit right, comfortable, stay pot with arch support. Best socks I've had in a long time!
Just the right weight

Once I discovered Smartwool socks for skiing I have never used another brand, these socks are no exception. I will say when I ordered these socks I thought they would be on the thinner side (I prefer Smartwool's super thin socks for my oh-so-tight fitting ski boots), and even though they are stated as light, they're still fairly thick. If you want to go as thin as possible then the ultra light would be the way to go. I wear a size 7 in female shoe size, and I get the medium size which fits perfectly.

I own a couple pair of both these and the Ultralight version. They're great -- warm, not bulky in the least, and have great elasticity to keep them in place. I also recommend sizing up if you're between sizes. I wear an 8.5-9 shoe, and the medium was too snug.

I bought 4 pairs of these on SAC last year, and have put them through the ringer. Many miles of hiking and hills of snowboarding later, I can say that they:

- Keep me warm
- Keep my feet dry
- Don't stink
- Breath well
- Are comfortable
- Are fantastic value for the money spent

I even use these for church socks sometimes. The dark color is perfect, and they cushion just right.

I have other bulky wool socks (merino) for hiking and boarding, and they don't even compare. I'm a total fan of these and will buy them again.
