I've been running for about two years now, and since starting I've had a couple different brands of socks (swiftwick/features/etc...). I've always sworn by smartwool for hiking, but I can now say they're the BEST brand of running socks I've ever had! I would recommend these to anyone. They breath well, keep your feet dry (which is a huge benefit when you're training for long races/breaking in a new pair of shoes), and they have the perfect amount of compression. They rock!

I bought these for my marathon running mom as these are her favorites! She's been running for 30+ years (marathoning for the last 9) and run 12 marathons. These are by far her favorites & with a running record like that, I'll take her word for it!

great socks - I like that the merino wool keeps me warm in a thin sock

I bought these to run, and have been using hem for a good 6 months. They are good looking and I like the feel of how my arch is wrapped but they are too thin overall to give a good protection on the toes during longer runs. They wash well and can be used for shorter workout, so still a good 3 stars:)

very thin sock - I wanted something with some padding.
