These are my second pair of Smartwool socks. I plan to wear this pair in a marathon next week. They are that good.

Although they are very warm and cushiony it is very annoying to have them slide down my heel while running. I am a 6 1/2 - 7M and purchased a size small thinking it would be the right size. I even called SmartWool to find out which size I should purchase. I have to wear a pair of very thin cotton running socks underneath to keep them from falling off. It is not too comfortable. Smartwool needs to add more elasticity into their socks.

i absolutely love these socks! i used to get blisters when i ran, but not after i switched to these socks. i only wear smartwools now.

I play ultimate frisbee tournaments in these socks, where I'm basically running all day long in cleats. These socks stay dry, unlike cotton, and provide great cushion -- no blisters.
