Helps with foot fatigue

    • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit:True to size

Bought these for my daughter, who is doing clinicals in nursing school. She says they really help decrease foot and leg fatigue from being on her feet for 12 hours straight.

    Good Overall Socks- Decent Compression

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit:True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

These are good socks, just not exactly what I was looking for in a compression sock. They are a little short for me. I'm 6' tall and they are still a few inches below my knee when I pull them all the way up. I have small feet for my height and got a Med, so that might have something to do with it. When I'm wearing a compression sock for compression purposes, I like them a little higher. I still like to wear them because I like having tall socks for certain things, and these fit the bill for that.

Compression is moderate, definitely not too tight. This can be good or bad depending on what you're after.

Still good socks because I love merino and smartwool. I pretty much wear merino all the time OTHER than when I'm wearing compression socks. I seem to have had better luck with other materials, but I may not have tried the right merino ones.
Nice but not medical compression grade

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I am a huge fan of SmartWool products and own quite a bit of their products. Like all SmartWool products, this sock is very comfortable. However, I would not go as far as saying that it provides 20-30 mmHg of compression. I do use medical grade compression socks since I have a DVT and am very familiar with both Jobst and Sigvaris compression socks. Granted that there is quite a variation in compression even amongst the medical compression brands, the compression provided by these socks are no where near 20-30 mmHg. I would describe them as nice snug and supportive socks, but would stop there. I still use these socks especially when I do not want to ruin my expensive medical grade socks. They do provide more support than regular athletic socks just not as much as medical grade compression socks.

    Best Compression Socks I've Tried!

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times

I was a bit skeptical of compression but gave compression sleeves and such a try a year or so ago and never had much success with them fitting right or feeling good after a long day. I stumbled on these socks on sale and gave them a shot. My first hike in them was amazing - my legs didn't feel wobbly at the end of the day and the usual internal bleeding I suffer from in my calves was not present! So I tried them again, and again, and again all with the same success! And then I bought 3 more pairs!

The compression is comfortable and tight without being TIGHT. And the sizing was spot on. Ii like that there is flexibility in the sock rather than most sleeves which you need a calf measurement for.

As a whole this is a great sock beyond the compression because it fits really well meaning that there is no slipping and no blisters (for me). I think that the thinness of the material helps for that reason as well as it limits the amount of rubbing and keeps my feet cooler (they tend to get hot during activities) which limits sweat which limits socks sweating out and/or getting so wet that they bunch. I can hike in them all day without needing to change out my socks. The pairs I have show no signs of wearing thin or deterioration despite heavy use in intense conditions.

These socks are definitely worth it especially if you're looking for something with compression and something thin.

I look forward to even trying them in the winter!

    Great compression

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit:True to size

I just received this sock and love it so far. I wear a women's 10 and based on the size chart, it said to order a L. I have pretty narrow feet and skinny legs, so I decided to go down a size to M. The sock fits perfect and offers great compression, glad I sized down. Very impressed. I haven't tried other brands, so I can't compare against anything else, but completely satisfied here.

    Awesome compression

    • Fit:True to size

I love hanging out at work helping customers out, but after a while, sitting at a desk can takes its toll on my feet.

Sitting down disrupts the circulation to your legs, so sometimes it's nice to have a little extra help with the compression to keep the blood moving.

For a while, I even had a short bout with "chillblains", a medical condition that occurs when cold weather and poor circulation damage capillary beds in the skin(swollen, painfully itchy toes)

Wore these compression socks for a week and problem solved!

I wear a size 8.5/9 men's size, and the mediums were perfect.

Also, be sure to first bunch the sock up, and then slowly work the socks over your feet and up your leg to prevent the sock from ripping

Great for running recovery so far

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times
    • Fit:True to size

I was very skeptical with compression equipment and the cost:benefit payoff. These socks have me thinking about buying compression tights now. I have not run in these socks yet, but I have used them about 8 times now for recovery right after my post-run shower. My feet and calves are ready to go the next day for training and are noticeably less sore than my quads and hammies. I have the black pair and they feel great and can blend in as work socks (I have worn them to client meetings). They are a little tough to get on, but once you get used to it it is not so bad. I wear mine for 3-6 hours after a run and have not experienced any pinching, pulling, or over compression on my feet or calves. I have only washed them 2 times now and they have held up so far. I highly recommend these socks for if you need to do training on back-to-back days. They are also comfortable enough that I wear them on airplane trips to keep my blood flowing and/or recover. The sale price also makes them one of the better deals for compression socks to begin with.

    Squeezy Socks

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit:True to size

I am an RN and am on my feet 13 hours a day. My legs feel a whole lot spunkier at the end of the day when I am sporting these bad boys. Not to mention they are excellent for all the groovy sporty things I like to do.

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I've bought these a few times now as I use them frequently for my winter outdoor adventures. Recommend sizing up if you're on the fence between sizes. I'm a size 8.5/9 and found the large to be the dialed fit.
