    Almost Supernatural

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

This is an awesome package. There are two socks, so there's one for each foot. When you pull one on, it covers your whole foot, providing comfort and warmth positively, compared to a bare foot, or a bare foot in a shoe, or boot. And also the other one, same. And off again too, because they're socks and that's what they do. You can do that many, many times, because they are super sturdy and well built fantastic Smartwool. Wash them once and a while and they'll love you forever. Best worn dry.

    Love these socks

I'm cheap! So giving that much for socks took me awhile. Lol so I had to really test them out. I have to say I am pleased. They wick sweat away nicely. Don't heat my feet up while hiking down hill. They haven't gotten thin with about 300 miles on them. I jogged 5 miles 10 days. To see when they would start to stink. After 50 miles of running during the summer and not being washed they finally started to smell. Lol but where still flexible and didn't have stiff spots to make blisters. For me I couldn't ask for anything else.

    dry and comfy

Such a great sock, really breathable so your feet don't get all sweaty and it wicks whatever moisture you do end up with. They don't stink up thanks to the odor resistance of Merino Wool. Best socks you can get, love the colors to

    So Comfortable

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

These socks have all of the comfort and performance that I have come to expect from Smartwool. They keep my feet warm in the winter and do a great job wicking and keeping my feet dry and cool in the summer.

I gave these socks 4 stars because they usually do not hold up for the long term to the abuse that I put them through. I usually start to develop holes on the bottoms after about a year of use.

    Killer socks.

I wear these all the time. Outdoors, running around or just around the house, they're a great all the way around. Comfy, warm and all around great socks. Great for hiking/backpacking.

    great product

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These socks feel fantastic on your feet and keep them cool and wick sweat however I switched them out for smartwools Medium cushion crew sock for wearing boots because these didn't have enough padding in the heal to prevent blisters in stiff boots. Now I just use them with other footwear and they are fantastic.

    Sock'Tastic

These are my go to sock for more than just hiking. I wear they around town and I've even taken them mountain biking a few times.

They keep my feet warm but not hot. Nice support keeps them from bunching up and creating blisters.

    My favorite sock

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I've used these socks on a month long backpacking trip in the snowy and wet Olympic National Park, over a month and a half long backpacking trip through Europe, hiking in southern Utah, trail running, and mountain biking. I even used these socks skiing once. They always keep my feet dry and they always stay in place. Nothing annoys me more than a sock that moves around and doesn't stay in place around the calves. The merino wool is super comfortable as well. For being a light weight sock, I found these super warm while backpacking through the snow during the summer . Obviously a medium to heavy weight version of this sock would be more suitable for winter pursuits.
