There's a chill in the air and a frost on the ground, so you better pull on some gloves when you head outside for your morning trail run. The SmartWool PhD Hyfi Training Glove is lightweight and dextrous, with a terry back knit fabric that's slightly stretchy and reinforced at the thumb and index finger. It has silicone grippers in case you stop at the deserted jungle gym to knock out some quick pull-ups on the icy monkey bars, and is even touch-screen-compatible, so you can check your phone or your workout stats when you're crunching through fallen leaves on your way down the street for a coffee.

Kind of a useless glove

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I purchased this glove for outdoor activities. In the photo it appears it has some grip on the palm/finger area but that isn't true. They are so slippery! I literally can't hold my keys or grab anything. So unless you want to touch nothing and simply run/walk around in these, I would suggest avoiding them. They are a great weight though, so am disappointed they are so useless.
