We've always felt that, during the summer months, less really is more. After all, there's no real need to cover your ankles when the mercury is threatening to pop the top off your thermometer. Let the breeze take care of them with the Smartwool Women's PhD Cycle Ultra Light Micro Sock.

Smartwool builds the PhD Cycle Ultra Light Micro Sock with its 4-degree Fit System, which is comprised of two different types of elastics for enhanced stretch and recovery. Patent pending Relia-Wool Technology in high-impact areas protects your foot from shock and vibration to reduce fatigue. Finally, Smartwool's low-profile toe seam reduces irritation and blistering, so you can ride longer, harder.

The Smartwool Women's PhD Cycle Ultra Light Micro Sock is available in Small, Medium, and Large. It comes in Poppy, Silver, and Black.

My new go to sock!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I've had arch reconstruction on one foot and need to do the other soon. Add bunions and corns and It takes great effort for my feet not to hurt. I recently discovered SmartWool and am in love! Toe seam does not rub my tender toes. My feet stay nice and dry and are left blister free. Highly recommend

Super comfortable!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love SmartWool socks - soft, warm - but not too warm so work great in the summer too - fits snugly, but comfortably. I use them for biking so could be a little higher, but I know they make a specific biking sock so wont complain.
