Warm and fuzzy

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

So I wear mediums cause I like my layers snug. At 6'2" 180lbs.
After years of use its still holding up great.
Now this is the most important feature I look for in a base layer:
It doesn't stink even if you wear it for a week straight. I know some people like the "feel" or the "warm to weight" ratio. But as a semi pro ski bum, I don't need to smell bad after touring day in and day out without the ability to do laundry.
Take that capilene!!

Versatile Midweight

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I started using this shirt for cycling and layering with a vest in the cool coastal mornings of Rt 1 in Cali. I really like the cut and thumb cutouts are really functional for biking. Warm enough yet highly breathable.

Perfect until i washed it

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was ecstatic with the fit of the medium, being 6'2" 160-165lb, the sleeves were long enough and it was a trim fit without being completely skin tight. but after i washed it per the instructions it shrank enough for the sleeves to annoy me if i made any movements and it became almost skin tight and a little short in length. if you buy it and don't want it to shrink a bit, just wash it in cool water and hang dry it. i love the half-zip in case you get too warm and need to get some breeze in and the thumbholes are now a must have for me on any baselayer.
