Best base layer I've ever owned

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

Fits great and does a great job of wicking, while also helping to keep you warm when needed. Long enough to stay tucked in and for me, the right balance of close to skin, but not tight. I like it better than my synthetic tops

My goto midlayer.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

For fit, I am 6'2" 170lbs, Long torso, arms. I wear Medium. Larges are just too long and don't give the "next to skin" feel.
I love this shirt. I own 3 of them only because I use them nearly everyday from november to april.
Stretchy, wicking, warm and breathable.
1\2 length zipper is great for venting.
I use the thumb holes with undercuff gloves, no problems with fit.
Now this is the most important feature I look for in a base layer:
It doesn't stink even if you wear it for a week straight. I know some people like the "feel" or the "warm to weight" ratio. But as a semi pro ski bum, I don't need to smell bad after touring day in and day out without the ability to do laundry.
Take that capilene!!
