I'm done with synthetic baselayers -- wool is just as warm, dries quickly, and most importantly, DOESN'T STINK after an hour of sweating in it.
Wore these under lightly insulated ski pants on a day where temps ranged from 0F to -10F at Alyeska -- kept my temp perfectly regulated, even when I stopped for lunch in the overly warm hotel.
Highly recommended!
