As they said, the hat is way too small. 12-24 month is tight on my 9 month old daughter, whose head circumference is right in the 50th percentile, so I know it's not her excessively large head that's the problem. Too bad--cute hat, very soft and well-made. It's just poorly sized. I'll keep the super cute mittens and give the hat away.

This hat is adorable but the 12-24 size too small for my 8 1/2 month old, who is a small baby. In my opinion this product is badly sized by SmartWool Company.
However the shipping really was "wicked fast"! I ordered this last night (economy shipping) and much to my delight it arrived today!

loved the whole set but because of its material it doesn't seem to stretch and the hat was way too small. my 9 mo old didn't fit into the 12/24 mo hat.
Change me.
