love these - i've tried other baselayers but they get holey and stretch out and don't last - my smartwool shirts and heavier knits have lasted for years, happy to have a couple new ones - love the new purple too

I cannot say enough good things about this base layer, the quality of the wool truly shines through. I used to steer clear of wool until I realized it was low quality wool I needed to stay away from! I have used this base layer this whole 23-24 season here in Utah, it has been my do it all layer, I am still wearing it here in April, we just had a storm over the weekend, and this came in so handy. You need this in every color! It pairs so nicely with the Classic Thermal Merino Baselayer Bottom. #Backcountry Gearhead

One of my go to tops for year round!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these Smartwool crew tops and I own a little collection of them in various colors. Have noticed some colors are softer than others. They loosen up a little after some wears. Fit is athletic fit. I'm a size 10 and can wear a medium or a large. Or both for layering!!!

My Go To Tops
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in these and have several I've collected over the years. They are easy to care for and still look amazing, showing no wear after several seasons. They are so cozy & warm that I get a little sad when it gets too warm to wear them. I am hopelessly addicted to Smartwool clothing.

I would buy again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this in 2 colors, in 2 different sizes. I'm a size small on the size chart, but was torn between ordering small or medium knowing it would be form-fitting. I got one in S and another in a M because that pattern was sold out in S. And I can say they both fit generally the same on me. I would go for S next time, especially for use as a baselayer, but honestly the fit and look is pretty similar between both. My new favorite shirts!

Favorite hiking layer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this! I wear it all winter for cooler hikes and trail runs. Works well with a light layer and keeps me warm without sweating.
