The SmartWool Men's Microweight Boxer Briefs are incredibly light and ideal for warm weather exercise. If the idea of wool underwear doesn't appeal to you, keep in mind that the Microweight Boxer Briefs are not only lightweight, they're soft to the touch, and they transfer moisture more quickly than any synthetic undergarment.

Bottom Line: Get hearts racing in the SmartWool Men's Microweight Boxer Brief.

Sweet underpants!

The merino wool is extremely comfortable, resist odor well after a few days of wear. I was worried about the itch factor, but it was nonexistent. I have not tried them in heated climates, but I have put them through some tough workouts that synthetics have irritated my hindside. The waistband is great, the man hole is different, but not an issue. All in all its a great pair of underwear.

I had anticipated a smaller sizing, something I see on much of the outdoor or "technical" gear (being 6'4" and 270-300 depending on mood, I'm a bit size sensitive). But nope, the XL were easily too large. I've sent them back for replacements, now I'm just hoping the larges won't be too big. I could shrink wrap them, but that is never a wise or sure choice. Doh!

Excellent Briefs

When you warm up in your pants things begin to itch a little but it is wool, otherwise a great comfortable brief. Probably needs colder temperatures for their best effect.

Smartwool boxers

By:

Bought these to wear under Gore-Tex paddle pants, and they function well—no itch, breathe well, don't pinch, no noticeable seams. I now prefer merino wool to fleece. They're cut large, but shrank a little on the first wash. The trap door is goofy and unnecessary.

This much for a pair of boxers??

You betcha, when they're made of SmartWool! Nothing compares to the performance and comfort of merino next to your skin - yes, even on hot (~100-degree) summer days. (Okay, so the "trap door" is a departure from the norm, but it works fine!) If you're a merino junkie like me, you won't settle for less (Pata-who?) than these!
