sweet undies

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

These undies are great. They regulate temperature like a champ, and that's important especially when talking about your giblets. My only gripe is that after a day or two they kind of stretch and don't offer the same support a fresh clean pair offers.

Wool is the way to go

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'9"
    Weight: 160 lbs
    Size Purchased: Medium

My primary purpose in splurging for expensive underwear was to avoid the stink associated with synthetic and cotton. These can be worn multiple days for extended outdoor trips and still remain "fresh". They also dry quickly. For some reason other brands of synthetic and cotton underwear fit way too tight are are restrictive so I typically must size up to large (I have a 32" waist), but these remain just tight and snug enough with a medium. If you like really tight, restrictive underwear you might consider sizing down. I will continue to buy more of these (but I always look for the sale of course).

Smartwool Boxer Briefs are awesome

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 6'1"
    Weight: 175 lbs
    Size Purchased: Medium

I bough several pairs of these for my husband. He loves them. He wears them hiking, camping, and fly fishing. He says they are very comfortable and can wear them for several days in a row. Highly recommended. They fit true to size.

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

I just love wool underwear and don't wear anything else now. Fits well, no odor (even after days), easy to wash and drys quickly. The price I got on these was great!

Perfect even in hot temps

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I love merino wool! You can wear these everyday for two weeks and they still won't stink (yes I've done this). I wish I had a few more pairs but I will be trying the microweight for summer temps this year.

More boxer than brief for sure

  • Gender:Male
  • Familiarity:I've used it several times

These are loose boxers not briefs, so might not be great if you need everything in one place. Other than that, they are comfy and offer the usual smartwool characteristics for drying, stink, etc.

yeah, get the Stoic ones. the legs roll up under your pants much too easy on these.

I like the smartwool microweight better too. didn't have this problem with the same size.

nice as it cools off

  • Gender:Male
  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I have completely turned over the drawer to Smartwool boxers (mostly micro wt) but as it chills off, so nice to put on the light wt. Great fit and a big fan of the new colors

BA in the BWCA

Just amazing. Light weight, moisture wicking, odor minimizer. Wore these on a 8 day Boundary Water Canoe Area camping/canoe trip and by the end of it, it barely had an odor to it at all. Very impressed. Score for smartwool.
