Beautifully made like all smartwool stuff. But it runs small . I have another smartwool beanie and love it. This one has a tight knit not very stretchy and coupled with it's small circumference it would be perfect for a kid. I returned it but will search for another smartwool beanie!

I love this hat. Its warm as hell, and I think it looks manly enough to rock out on the hill. Riding in the east I find that this hat is warm enough for me. Its not windproof so sometimes on the lift I wear my hood, I don't mind. The hat is very comfortable, its not itchy, and fits my head just fine. I wear a 7-7 1/4 hat. You can't go wrong with Smart Wool.

She likes this beanie (typical smartwool quality) but it does fit a bit large on her tiny head.
What you didn't know is the tassle is adjustable.... just pull the thread inside to make it shorter if you think you're going to catch it on power lines!

Nice, warm and comfortable hat. I have big ears, and this hat fits my head nicely. A warm on hat on a cold, windy mammoth day.

Hat is warm and comfy, tassel gives a bit of style. Fit is definitely not for large heads. Two thumbs up

I like the hat. It is nice and warm and does decent cutting wind. I wish was a little larger or came in sizes, because I have a big mellon.

It is about 7.5" tall and has a diameter of 10.5". Note that both of these measurements are for the hat in an unstretched state (it can stretch to about 2 inches in diameter and ~1" in height).

Looks great (got Charcoal Heather) and is very warm. The built in headband works well to keep ears warm. Only downer is suggested hand washing.

I have 2 pairs of SmartWool socks and this is my second SmartWool hat. I love this brand. It has never let me down. I highly recommend their products...functional, good quality...and cute stuff!

This is a great beanie!! It fits well and is not itchy. It does not block wind so it might not be a good idea is it is going to be really windy outside. A great hat!!
