SmartWool Baby Bootie Batch - Infants' - 2009 BCS

Cute and warm but run really small. I would order one size larger than needed.

I bought 2 different stages of sizes these booties. Neither one stayed on her feet. They also snag really easy. My husband and I both love the adult SmartWool socks and were excited that they made baby booties. It was a waste of money and very disappointing.

In complete agreement with the other reviewer. These were too small practically from birth, not very tall, they fell off all the time. Also, they snagged easily.

When my first daughter was born we were gifted a different style of Smartwool socks (striped magenta/green & green/purple) and they were fantastic - though they didn't fit her til she was 12 months old. But it was worth the wait! We had hoped these would be just as awesome, but not so.

I bought these for my one month old daughter in the 3-6 month size. Even though our entire family wears Smartwool and I wanted to love these, I can only give them one star.

1. They run small. The 3-6 month size barely fits my four week old girl.

2. They are short. More like ankle socks, they don't provide any leg warmth at all, not good for little babies who live in cold climates.

3. They fall off. I can't keep them on for anything. She has to wear shoes or another pair of socks over them. Kind of defeats the purpose of booties.
