Spectrum Snowboard

The board of choice for Slash's newest urban assassin, Nic Suave, the Spectrum Snowboard is made for the freestyle fiend who does a bit of everything, from greasing street rails to launching park kickers. With a stable feel and a versatile flex, the Spectrum has everything you need to make your freestyle fantasies come true.

It starts with a completely flat profile that's extremely stable to help you line up big rails and stomp huge airs, but offers a more forgiving feel than traditional camber so a little under-rotation doesn't put you on your back. Reactive Flex uses fiberglass in combination with the specially-profiled core to allow the board to flex across the width. When boardsliding a rail, for example, the edges bend upwards like a skateboard to prevent you from catching an edge. When carving a turn, it works the other way around. The board's edges flex downward, making for a concave base that adds extra grip.

Alternating poplar and beech stringers in the Snap Crackle Pop core provide strength and a lively feel, and spruce inlays in the nose and tail increase pop and response. CarbonBon reinforcements increase pop and responsiveness without increasing weight. To give you the grip you need to hold an edge on icy kickers and bulletproof groomers, it features Ultimate Traction, which uses one small, counter-radius bump at the center of the sidecut to create an additional contact point. A sintered base with OneBall wax keeps you moving fast so you don't come up short on big gaps, and it's super durable to resist damage from gritty street sessions.
