I am looking for a better portable sound system for when I teach

I am looking for a better portable sound system for when I teach yoga classes...I have a mobile studio...=-) Looking for a better distribution of sound than my current little boombox...I find that having music blasting from one corner of the room not as "enveloping" as when I am at studios with surround sound, etc...would the sound from this help in that area, or just another "direct stream of sound" that would be loud for close students and hard to hear for the ones further away?

This will just give you the same old same old boom box sound
You wont be able to get the sound of fully amplified and surround wired studio music from just one spot in the room. Your best bet is to get a boom box with detachable speakers so you can at least spread them 20ft or so and that will gain you a lot over a self contained box.
