Cause a ruckus when you pop the Skullcandy Riot Headphones into your ears and pump up the premium sound. These little earbuds pack a big punch without taking a massive chunk out of your wallet.
The product sounds good, but I use them at work, and every so often when I shift in my chair, they crackle and I get a little shock in my ears. I guess it could just be static electricity, but it didn't happen with my other ear buds, and it's pretty freaking annoying. So, they're going back.
the "shock" is probably a short---not static. I'd probably stop wearing them :^) unless you've already died from electrocution--then this post won't really help....

Bought these for my wife to replace the stock iPod buds. The Riot's stay put and provide good listening quality. She is "fiscally conservative" and feels the Riot's were a great value.
Somehow I manage to break or lose headphones frequently. I needed a quick replacement and these were cheap. All I needed was something for the afternoon, and I expected to be replacing them soon after. Surprisingly, they work pretty well. Great at blocking outside noise, decent base for the small size/price. For everyday use- I'd recommend them. I'm looking forward to trying out some of Skullcandy's better headphones.
For $20 this is a good deal. I've been using shitty "over ear" style ear buds for a few years with my ipod, because conventional ear buds don't even come close to fitting in my tiny ear holes. This go "in" your ear, and while they certainly get sore after wearing for more than an hour, they have much, much better sound quality than the outer ear ones. The best part is on planes - they pretty much block everything out. They do pop out easily though if you snag the (super long) cord on anything.
For the price these are awesome, especially with the interchangable ear pieces. I tseems like most earphones I get just hurt after long time use, but these don't so it makes me happy.
purchased about 6 of this little earphones to give as stylish yet capable gifts to my friends & cousins.. at first try, it already blew me away..
sounds come out very clear and isolated (which is both good and somewhat bad).. on the box it says to use the lowest volume possible, which is true, unless you want your eardrums to burst -- seriously they isolate and direct the music to your ear that well..
if you're listening to music, you'll notice sometimes sounds are more prominent on the right ear, sometimes on the left, not sure if this is good, but you'll definitely hear your music unlike before.. funny, when watching YouTube, there are videos that only record sound on the left side (hence nothing to hear on the right ear bud)..
the ear contours are good, but even with the smallest possible option, i can't stand it rubbing against my ear canal (guess i have very sensitive ears)..
what i didn't like is you have to rip the package before getting to the item.. you have no place to store the extras if you mangled the case.. wish it came with a small pouch or something..
but hey, for the price, it's well worth it.. go get some (if i didn't buy 'em all already).. :-)
Skullcandy makes awesome headphones. for the price, you get much better sound quality than similarly priced headphones. In addition, the interchangeable earpieces make them much more comfortable to wear. Plus, the ends are soft and gel-like, which means I can wear these for a few hours and my ears don't hurt.
These are the best headphones I have ever purchased! Pretty inexpensive but if you think $20 is expensive it would be worth every penny. Amazing sound quality, and comes with different sized ear pieces for all types of ears. Great design, very attractive. I highly suggest if anybody wanted headphones these would be the ones to get!
Good sound, fit nicely in the ear and comes with three different size rubber attachments to change in case you want to be more comfortable. The isolation from outside noise is really good.
I bought 5 pair of these in different colors so that everyone in the family has their own set and own color. They have worked great and are very comfortable. I never liked headphones because the pressure on my ears used to give me a headache. The earbuds don't cause the pressure so I can wear them for hours and not get a headache.
these buds are a solid price for what you get. the sound is fine and they fit well which is all you can ask from a 20 dollar pair of head ohones more...
The product sounds good, but I use them at work, and every so often when I shift in my chair, they crackle and I get a little shock in my ears. I guess more...
