Experience the precision sound of Skullcandy Lowrider Headphones and ride to the beat of your own drum. These full-range headphones give your music a much-needed boost so you can kill it in the terrain park with crisp highs, full mids, and thundering bass.
Bottom Line: Killin’ it in the park and in your ear-hole.
These headphones are the all-around, go anywhere, do anything - best. I ski in them, I work on the computer on them, I ride the stationary with em, I fly with them. They fold up, they look good, they sound good. GetEm.
They sound alright, they pack up small, they feel cheap, the cord is short, and when I pull them down onto my neck, the hinge in the middle consistently pulls a hair out. It *only* happens when I pull them down on to my neck, but still, Ouch!

As sport headphones these aren´t really that good, you have to have the goggle straps over them while skiing to keep them on your head. The sound is weak, and every outside noise will disturb most of your music. I currently use mine only with the macbook pro around the house. I would recommend the iCon or even better the new iCon 2 instead, or maybe some earbuds.
I had these when I got them for cheap on Whiskey Militia a couple years ago, but I would not pay full price for them. I like how they fold up for easy traveling, the plastic on them will tend to snap. They did snap on me & sent them back a refund a year or so ago. They are basically the same speakers as the Skull Candy Icon (which I also have), but just look bigger, but not as comfortable as the Icon.
If you can get them for $10-15 on Whiskey Militia/Dept. of Goods Outlet go for it. You can send any Skull Candy products back to Skull Candy in Park City & they'll send you a free replacement or whatever is comparable, I've done that, they are very good about that. Anything with a good lifetime warantee is worthwhile
These headphones are very simple, durable, and stylish. I take these on the UTA bus up to snowbird countless times a season to isolate me from the wierdos going up to Alta. Had them for about five years and they have yet to break. WORTH THE MONEY!
Childish looks, terrible color schemes, flimsy build quality, loose and unstable fit, tinny and weak sound with tons of distortion, overall bad product...It's only right that these are getting far less popular as more stylish and better sounding headphones are slowly getting released. Check out the WeSC oboes, they aren't perfect either but light years ahead of these.
That's right, these headphones suck. They really do, and they suck bigtime! I bought these like 2 years ago and I was dissapointed at the moment I heard them the first time. Back then I thought "Okay, maybe the bass will come out eventually" but damn, did it? No! I bought them for 50 and it was one of my dumbest decisions. I do not recommend these for anyone.
ps. ATM I have Sennheiser's HD 555 headphones and they are totally awesome! They did cost littlebit more(90) but man, if you're at least a bit audiophile you should know that these cans rock!
like someone mentioned before, OK at the most. got them for super cheap on SAC so they're fine for just listening to some stuff at work. but I will never use them outside or for anything else and especially not buy them for the full price.
These headphones are not worth the money most places charge. They're priced based on the name brand, and looks. The sound is really bad without any bass, and they break very easily! I'm really surprised skull candy would make a product like this.
These arent worth your money. they look cool, and even though the sound quality isnt great, thats not the problem. the problem is as it is with every skullcandy headphones, they break if you even look at them wrong. my lowriders snapped, so i glued em back. then, they snapped in a different place, a little closer to the speaker. If u are gonna get cheep headphones, get the icons, they last a lot longer. in your life you will pay a lot of money for headphones, you can pay a little bit at a time replacing skullcandy headphones, or pay all at once and get something like beats by dre.

well haters, seems you guys dont get it...you want DJ stereo headphones then go spend $299 for Dre Beats or $200 for the BOSE...but if you need a light compact set for your iPod these are worth the $40 thats 2 $20 bills.....dig?
Poor sound, shoddy materials and manufacture. At least they'll replace them so you can get another pair of crappy headphones when these break which they'll do much sooner rather than later.
The sound on these is fantastic. I chose the worst color there was as they were on sale and they are quite hideous but that was my choice. A more stylish choice would still be worth the couple extra dollars. They also fold up very nice and are comfortable.
Reading the reviews about these headphones on here makes not trust one review from any of the backcountry sites. These headphones are not even worth 5 bucks. They look cool i guess, and they do fold up small, but seriously these sound so thin its just insane. You are much better off just going to your electronics store and get any of the sony mdr headphones for like 10 bucks more. At least those bass.
These are Ok in my opinion but I use them at home on my computer when I need the sound all to myself and there are no other headphones around. They are kind of heavy so these are not good for snowboarding because they fall off easily and they make my ears sore after an hour or so of wearing them. They fold down nice and small which is a nice. My favorite headphones are the Hesh headphones.
I bought these headphones a few years ago to listen to music while working. They don't have the best sound quality, and the thick foam sitting on your ear keeps the sound somewhat distant. These are, however, lasting much longer than any other skullcandy's I have previously owned. When I say they are lasting much longer, i mean that the sound still works. The plastic protecting the foam, however, is all falling off, and since my foam has white plastic on it, I always have white plastic all over me, and that sometimes might be viewed as being dandruff, which could be somewhat embarrassing. Luckily my self-esteem is high enough that I don't care if people think the white plastic is dandruff, as it is whiter than dandruff and is kind of obvious that is it not dandruff. But still, a person with low self-esteem might have a problem with that.
I bought these headphones for travel and they didn't disappoint. Use them at work, home, etc. Have them on right now! Comfortable, great sound, and they fold up really small. Reasonably priced too.
