    They break, easily, quickly, sadly

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had these for a little over a month, and like all skullcandy headphones I've ever owned, they've broken before I got to use them. A screw holding the left ear on has come off, and is mechanically impossible to reinstall without rebuilding the headphones. They were comfortable with "meh" sound quality before. Overall bummed out by them falling apart.

    better than my last pair

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are definitely an upgrade from my last pair that snapped. For that reason i went with this pair because they have a metal band versus plastic. I wear headphones every day at work so comfort and durability is a must. That being said, they are tight and you can only wear them for so long because they cause some serious ear pain. Like i said, i wear headphones all day so I am talking about pain after 2 hours or so of wear. Besides that, they are comfortable and I'll keep them.

    Quality Sound for any Occasion

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

    Great bang for your buck!

Quality sound, great bass, very crisp whether used with a laptop, phone or other device. These headphones do a great job of cancelling noise but aren't overly cumbersome like some over-ear headphones. Very comfortable and no ear pain after wearing all day at work. I wore these on a small plane (very loud) and was able to keep the outside noise to a minimum. Very clean sound, even at high volume. A high range of adjust-ability makes for a great fit for numerous activities.

The Headphone For That Everyday Grind

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These headphones sound great and fit great. My pair gets used for multiple purposes, cruising around town, work, and I still use them at the gym. The Supreme Sound Technology gives them the perfect sound and right amount of base for all activities. Was never a fan of over the ear headphones for the gym. But, the way these fit to my head and comfort is unmatched.

    Great for the price

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Grind is a great add to the Skullcandy Headphone line. It allows me to work in peach daily and listen to my music without having too much disturbances from my co-workers. Great way to listen to music and space out on excel sheets.

    A Serious Upgrade

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I picked up a pair of Grinds to finally replace my antiquated Skullcandy Lowriders. They are a major upgrade. The sound is great and they are way more comfortable than the Lowriders, although I do get a little ear discomfort after about an hour. They also cancel out a good deal of outside noise which is a big plus.

    TapTech not Touch pad tech

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are pretty awesome headphones and are some of the most comfortable I've worn. I wanted an over the ear headset that doesn't completely enclose around my ears so I can hear people in the office while still jamming out. For that purpose, these are perfect.
However, the included cord is pretty short. I have the Skullcandy Crusher and that cord is much longer. Not too big a deal, but a surprise nonetheless. The most notable surprise to me though, and it was probably my fault, was that the TapTech is just a button on the left headphone. I understood the description to mean that the ear bud would have some sort of touch sensitivity where I could double tap the surface to skip forward or whatever. Little bit of a let down, but they still work really well and produce quality sound. If you want ear rattling bass, go for the Crusher. Otherwise this headphone is pretty awesome. No pain on the ears when listening to music or using them for a call for very long periods of time (hours and hours) either. Other bonus: They look freakin rad!
