The party starter.

The party starts and ends with the Skullcandy Air Raid Bluetooth Speaker. Crank out some tunes for the whole party directly from your Bluetooth device—this little box will pour out the music seamlessly even if you're 33 feet away from it. Don't worry about your friends trying to mess with your music from their phones, because this speaker can only connect to two Bluetooth devices and will only play from one at a time. Water-resistant qualities keep it safe from party-fouls, and the stainless steel box will keep the speakers intact even if it gets dropped. Speaking of speakers, these 50mm drivers pump out music at all angles with crystal-clear sound so everyone gets the best sound regardless of where they are in the room. In case you lose your phone during the crazy night, you can always change the tracks, volume, or turn this bad boy off directly from the box. But be prepared to party on throughout the night, because this speaker will last up to 14 hours. When all is said and done, grab the box by its handy little handle and get out of the house before the owners get home.

Worth it!

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is my first Bluetooth speaker, so I don't have a lot to compare it to. However I do really like the Air Raid! The range of the Bluetooth connection has been excellent. I've tested it up to about 50 feet without losing connection. I've used it with my Galaxy S4 and my notebook PC via Bluetooth, and the 8mm interface works as expected with my 3rd Gen iPod. I haven't put its water resistance to the test, but it comes with a nice removable rubberized sleeve that covers the connectors nicely. I am satisfied with battery life.... I tend to run this speaker as much as all day in my office streaming audio, and although I have to charge it regularly, it seems to only need charging every 3-4 days. For me the performance has been more than satisfactory, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Add a lifetime warranty and it's hard to go wrong!

The Air Raid is a Beast

The Air Raid is a Beast

Tossed the Air Raid onto the top of our Golf Cart during a Golf Scramble Tourney. It started to dump rain, but the beer, golf, and music kept us going. The Air Raid was ejected off the roof a couple times from our wet grass 180s in the cart. We partied for 18 holes and hid under a tree for a while to get out of the rain. the Air Raid was rockin. buy it. it makes people happy.

Was it pretty loud?? Good Bass?? Thinking about getting one for my Kayak,, & Love my Music!! But just good bass to it, Not the'Thumping' ya hear in passing car's that make your eye's rattle!! :-O lol. Anything you can tell me will be much appreciated friend!! Regards, Thomas M. Pensacola, Florida.

Tearing up the greens in a cart, getting drunk, hiding under a tree during a lightning storm. What an assclown...

Air Raid has two-2 inch speakers and an amplifier with two-5 watt outputs. The speakers are tuned just right, so they sound clear without any harsh highs. The high frequencies are smooth and well-balanced compared to the bass and vocals. Added perk? Position Air Raid with speakers facing up to experience 360-degree immersive sound.

“We wanted this thing to be able to fall off the back of a tank, and into the mud while still rocking that Sweet Home Alabama. It’s basically tough as shit,” Industrial Designers, Donnie Stiff.

Music on the Go

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This Air Raid is awesome! Super solid unit has enough weight to power some loud tunes! Battery lasts at least 5 hours. Took that thing out in the yard to do yard work, to the pool, the kitchen, the office, the workshop. Never have to plug it into a wall as long as the batteries are charged up. Killer Christmas gift for worthy friends or family members!
