Pros: delivers awesome sound, cord doesn't get tangled up easily Cons: not comfortable for long uses, does not have a secure snug fit in ear
Worst Ear Buds Ever

I'm going to resist writing this review in ALL CAPS.
These things suck. Like, really suck. You're better off singing to yourself while being active than actually expecting these things to stay in your ear. The slightest movement will bump these things out of your ears, so unless you're sitting at your computer your better off with something else.
Also, the ear bud covers tend to fall off and disappear and you're left with the not-so-ear-friendly plastic piece. Completely uncomfortable and even more difficult to stay in your ear.
Finally, after about two weeks of use the left ear bud went completely silent on me. Sweet. But at least now I only have the ear bud constantly falling out of one of my ears.
Bottom line, you're better off with a pair of gratis headphones from the airlines than these POS.

Picked up another pair this year, and they're still my favorite earbuds- shredding, around campus, pretty much anything. I wish that they still made them with the nylon cord, but the flat cord is still pretty legit. The sounds quality is amazing, and it's super handy to be able to adjust the volume, play/pause, and skip songs on the cord without having to mess with the music device itself. Makes them awesome for shredding!
Skullcandy is still crushing it with these, go pick up your own pair!

I was looking forward to getting these as I've heard great things about Skullcandy. Unfortunately they were a huge disappointment. The general sound quality is almost as good as my other pair of lower-priced earbuds. They are very comfy when sitting around. Start moving though and you get all sorts of horrible banging noises from the cord and they start to fall out. I think one of the biggest problems is the mic/remote is on the left-ear-cord; so they get to swinging really bad. (My other earbuds have the buttons on the main cord so they just hang straight down and barely swing at all.) Wore them on a run and ended up having to hold them the whole time. Then tried them while just walking in town and they stayed in but still had all the banging noise coming from the cords hitting my jacket. General quality seems OK. Because they're comfy and sound OK when not moving and I got them for super cheap, I'll probably just use them in the office and keep using my other ones for when I'm moving. Not what I expected for a brand aimed at the active crowd!
Wonderful sound - control button issues

These headphones sound wonderful, but the control button does not work very well if you have a music player and the Amazon Cloud Player on your phone. Trying to control the music player turns on the Amazon Cloud player and vice versa. It could be because I have an older phone (Droid Eris), but I am going to forgo the control button for everything but volume.

They are pretty good headphones for cancelling out surrounding noise. These are much better than my last pair that went dump-wise pretty quick and shocked me a few times (not skulls). As Julian says, they don't fall out, even when running. A+.
alright, do the job

I have these as well as a few others & these are good mid to upper range ear buds if you don't want to spend too much, plus lifetime warranty.

I use alot of different kinds of headphones. These are my go to headphones for working out and trail runs. They stay in, sound good, and don't cost much. The newer flat style cables don't tangle as much as the older styles did.
Fantastic buds for the price

Good Sound, decent fit, haven't noticed any thumping noises from the cable while exercising with them. The smart phone controls didn't work with my iPhone 3G, but work fine with my iPhone 4.
Almost perfect

The sound is great, the only problem is with the Michael the bows says it will pause and play music but it won't do it, (although it might be my phone) but other then this flaw there amazing

I have used a few different styles of ear buds from Skullcandy and other brands. I had issues with the Smokin Ear Buds falling out when running or climbing but these 50/50's have worked great. The sound is awesome and having the microphone and quick answer option is very convenient when snowboarding or running.
Pretty good

Love the colors on these, sound is pretty good, the louder the volume the better the sound quality and the better the bass. Decent all around head phone.

I've always been iffy about in-ear buds in the past. They're usually uncomfortable, fall out easily, or scratch the inside of your ears. But the 50/50s are definitely different. I had an old pair of in-ear buds from Skullcandy that ended up breaking after a lot of use, and finally replaced them with these.
They are the most comfortable pair of in-ear buds I have ever used. The best part is that they come with different sizes coverings, so if you have smaller ears, you can swap em out for a covering that fits better.
The sounds quality is amazing, and it's super handy to be able to adjust the volume, play/pause, and skip songs on the cord without having to mess with the music device itself. Makes them awesome for shredding!
better than your average skull candy

These ear buds are straight legit. Had some over-ear Nixon Whips, which looked really sick and gave great sound for the $15 they cost me on whiskeymilitia, used them mostly for skating. These Skullcandy's are a different level of headphones. They are really comfortable. I ride motorcycles, track, dirt, whatever...and these fit under my race level helmet with no discomfort at all. The sound is ridiculous. Bass bumps...highs are crisp...and volume goes high as hell! What else do you need??!! 5 Stars fo sho

yes because "charging the park" is much more demanding on your headphones then simply skating or snowboarding.
