X-Blade II Rear Fender

Not everyone is fortunate enough to live in a place with sunny skies and dry trails year round. So for those of you living in damper climes, the SKS X-Blade II Rear Fender is an excellent option for keeping your backside dry when you’re hitting the trails. It’s proven to stay put, even on rough terrain, and it’s a breeze to take on and off, so you won’t have to lug it around when the sun makes an appearance.

Thanks to a simple seatpost mount, removing and installing the X-Blade doesn’t take more than a couple of seconds. It’s curved to match the profile of a 26- or 27.5-inch wheel, and you’ll want to run it within a few inches of the tire for maximum protection. For full suspension bikes, keep in mind that the fender won’t be stationary relative to the rear wheel, so place it higher to accommodate for rear wheel travel.
